Photography is a necessity for me.
It allows me to block what I see: so I can contemplate it and come to understand its truest sense.
In this way, I can understand reality, and love it as it is.

I was born in Brescia where I still reside today. In 1989, I graduated in Architecture from the Polytechnic of Milan. From 1990 to 2012 I worked as an architect in both the public and private sectors.
In April 2012, I completed my first photo reportage in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. I was part of a delegation for the AVSI Foundation visiting sites constructed in Haiti after the earthquake of 2010.
In 2013, I attended my first Masterclass in photo journalism with Alex Majoli. This brought me to the State of Minas Gervais in Brazil to photograph the APAC (Association Protection and Assistance to Prisoners), alternative facilities compared to traditional state prisons.
In 2014, I completed a photographic project representing the streets of New York and exhibited a selection of photographs entitled “Women in New York.”
In 2015, I started a second Masterclass with Alex Majoli and Daria Birang, and I am currently working on a photographic project on the city of Brescia.
